OneNewsNow Pre-Loading Anti-Gay Comments?

I’m sure most of you have been to OneNewsNow, the Religious Right propoganda site operated by the American Family Association (AFA).

So I was over there a few minutes ago reading this article about how horrible it is that President Obama is speaking at a Human Rights Campaign function on Friday. Writer Allie Martin quotes Peter LaBarbera, who went on about appeasing them damn uppity nigg–I mean homosexuals would alienate normal people. It’s pretty standard fare for OneNewsNow.

If you’ve been over there much at all, you know that they “moderate” (read:censor) comments quite heavily, so I expanded their comments section to see if they’d let any comments through yet. When I rolled over their rating system, I accidentally opened their comment form, which is usually empty. Not today, though. Today, it was already filled in.

In case the image doesn’t load, here’s what it says:

“LaBarbera points out that HRC has “Bible studies” online that claim homosexuality is not sinful.” Obama has mocked the Bible by saying it promotes slavery and not eating shellfish. Both he and HRC twist the Scriptures to their own destruction.

Obviously, I didn’t write that. Those words appear nowhere else on the page (save the part the comment quotes), so it wasn’t an errant copy/paste. OneNewsNow still hasn’t published any comments on the article, so who knows if others have sent that comment accidentally, or even on purpose to give an automated thumbs-up.

I just wonder how often they prime the pump like this.
